THREE ELEVATIONS FOR THE YEAR 2025 (PART 6)

2 Corinthians 3:18 “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”

God wants us to grow spiritually by taking His Word and applying it to our lives.

The word ‘changed’ used here has the same meaning as ‘transfigured.

Just like Jesus when He was on the mountain, His face did shine as the sun, and His clothes became as white as light. He was transfigured, or He was transformed. (Matthew 17:2; Luke 9:29)

The disciples saw that Jesus was radiant with the glory of God.

The same way, God says that your minds have to be changed and be transformed.

Romans 12:2
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

The Lord says that every day your mind has to be transformed or renewed by the Word of God.

So that you can know what is God’s good, acceptable and perfect will of God for your life.

We can come to church and listen to the Word, but as James 1:23 says, “For if any be a hearer of the Word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:”

If he is only a hearer, he is not going to change because he is only looking at the Word, but he won’t apply that into his heart.

James 1:22 says, “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.”
