UNFORGIVENESS IS A THIEF! (PART 1)

When Peter approached Jesus and said, “How many times do I have to forgive my brother (fellow believer) who keeps offending me? Seven times?” 

Jesus answered, “Not seven times, Peter, but seventy times seven times! 

Matthew 18:21-22

Certainly, you will not feel like forgiving anyone that many times but by deciding to walk in love, you will be walking in God's love.

Thereonwards Jesus continued illustrating the lessons of forgiveness in heaven’s kingdom realm by telling them a parable of an Official who refused to forgive. (Read Matthew 18:23-35).

Jesus ends the parable by saying: “That’s what my Heavenly Father will do to you if you refuse to forgive your brothers and sisters from your heart.”

In other words, Jesus said unforgiveness will put you in the hands of the devil or the power of the tormentor.

Unforgiveness is one of the major causes of calamity. 

It will put you into the hands of the wicked one. 

It will open the door to demonic spirits and you will be in the tormentor's hands until you forgive.

If we do not forgive we will be turned over to the tormentors and Satan will have free access to our life.

When we walk out of love into strife, we open the door to calamity and disaster because strife will stop our faith!

Our faith can fail when we do not walk in love. The law of faith never fails! 

It always works because it is a law of God. 

But we can fail to work it by NOT walking in love. 

Strife and unforgiveness will invite calamity into your life.
