ENTER INTO THE PRESENCE OF GOD WITH PRAISE!

Psalm 100:4 says, "Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless His name."

The Hebrew Word for gate means doorway. 

Jesus is the Door to entering into the presence of God. 

John 10:7,9 

We can come right into His presence with thanksgiving.

Through Jesus, we need to continually offer up to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips giving thanks to His name. Hebrews 13:15

Bring your thank offering to Him and bless his beautiful name! 

This is how we are supposed to begin our prayer, by entering into His presence, thanking, praising, and blessing Him. 

Through prayer, Jesus taught us how to enter into God’s presence. 

He said in Matthew 6:9: "Our Father Who is in heaven, hallowed be Your name."

Let’s begin our prayer by acknowledging our relationship with the living God, Who is our Father. 

We praise God because He is good. 

We sing loving praise to His lovely name because He is beautiful. Psalm 135:3

Praise drives out distraction and brings the presence of God into our midst.

Praise is a sweet melody to the ears of God therefore we can sing songs of praise and thanksgiving unto Him.

Do not approach Him as ‘God, Judge, or Creator’. It is an unrelated and distant friendship with a person.

Every born again child of God in the New Testament can have a very close, personal relationship with the Lord that transcends even the best of the Old Testament saints.

How good is it? Remind yourself of His goodness and grace. Also, know that He is not angry with you.

Even if you sin, He will not condemn you. 

God is pleased with you and loves you very much. 

When you enter His presence, remember: He is your Father!

Instead of focusing on your own inadequacies, thank Him for His goodness!

The New Testament commands us: “Be thankful.” Colossians 3:15

Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
